A little bit about how Tangle and Transform came about
I have had several jobs in the last 3 years since I came back out into the workforce.
Some might say, that looks bad on a resume, but what I have come to learn from it all was...
What my own strengths and weaknesses are.
What I enjoyed doing. Things I would have never thought I would be able to do in a million years.
There are aspects of a company that, even if you qualify for the position on paper, it might not be what sparks your joy, what brings you to life. While someone else who doesn't qualify on paper, could be the best person for the job and it transforms their energy and the energy of that area for the better.
I found my confidence and my voice. I found my happy place, my spark. Do what you love and you'll never "work" a day in your life!
Being a Business Consultant and helping businesses transform is what energizes me and sparks the life within me.
I enjoy listening to people, the good, the bad and the challenging within their business, and just life in general.
While applying for multiple jobs I would find that I would apply, get rejected and then 2 weeks later the same position would show up again. What does that tell me? Well it's not just whispering, but really almost shouting that just because someone might look better on paper for that position, and they are the one's who get hired, just to quit as quickly as they were hired. I have seen this with the numerous jobs I have had. There are sometimes personal reasons it happens, but I would say most of the time it is because of clarity, communication and knowing their strengths and weakness that cause breakdown in one area or another.
With my delivery job and having frustrations with management, who have never done either position of the job, and not understanding what is helpful and what kinds of things could potentially be put into place to help with certain challenges has seemed to fire up the consulting business person in me. I have dealt with many managers who don't know the first thing about the actual job and that is where a big breakdown in communication and clarity starts.
I have had co-workers in the past that are afraid of communicating with management because of the backlash they get from them. I have learned that I am actually pretty good at letting the backlash roll off my shoulders. Allowing Management, leads, supervisors and even bosses speak to employees like that kills their spirits and their confidence. They need a safe place to vent their frustrations and their ideas. And the management, supervisors, etc need to learn a better way of getting things across or they need a different position.
There is so much more that I have learned with my time with the numerous companies I have been with either as an employee or as a customer that has shaped my business. Those things I will save for another time.
